Jackson's Fire Truck Party

We celebrated Jackson's birthday just a little early this year. He wanted a fire truck themed party. It wasn't complete without a trip to Station #5 for a tour and a look at a real fire truck.

The kids really liked seeing where the firemen sleep and eat. They all wanted to know what they watched on tv and what they ate in the kitchen. You never know what kids will ask!

Jackson trying on a real fireman's uniform. He only got this far. He didn't want to put on the jacket and hat.

We got to sit in the driver's seat and turn on all of the lights! We had too many little kids there so we didn't turn on the sirens. The steering wheel was huge and there were tons of buttons to push!

Jackson and his friends in front of Engine #5. They all had a great time!!

The very cool and yummy birthday cake.

Blowing out the 5 candles on the cake. It was "hard work" according to Jackson.

The Birthday Boy even had his very own special birthday shirt!

The Kids

Here are just a few miscellaneous pictures of the kids. Ainsleigh and Cooper turn 5 months old on May 13 and Jackson turns 5 years old on May 20th. My how time flies!

Kristen and the kids

Jackson and his $10 snowcone at the Circus. He loved it!

Cooper and Ainsleigh on their first day of "school". They both did great. I think Ainsleigh is really going to like it. There is always something going on for her to watch. I thought she was going to get whiplash the first 5 minutes we were there. She couldn't keep up with all of the kids. Maybe it will wear her out so she will sleep better...right!
