Christmas Eve and Day

CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve, Michael, Kristin, Mom and Dad were at our house for dinner. It was nice for all of us to be together.

The Riggs family all dressed up. We actually managed to get a decent picture where almost everyone was looking at the camera!

Uncle Michael and Aunt Kristin

Mimi and Popsy.... this isn't their best picture.
Jackson took this from his level.

Jackson with his presents. He got a game called Pictureka which is very cool and the Troublesom Trucks for his Thomas set. He had them and apparently they have disappeared so he was very excited to have them back.

Ainsleigh and Cooer were trying to open their present.

Ainsleigh enjoyed Aunt Kristin's bow with a bell. She wore it as an accessory.

CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Look at all the presents!

Jackson had a ton of stuff from Santa. He must have been very good this year.

Jackson anxiously waiting at the top of the stairs to see what Santa brought him.

Ahhhh, the chaos!

Jackson's annual picture of him and his presents. It is absurd isn't it???

Taylor's annual picture of him and his presents!

Ohhhh, daddy got me Spike the dinosaur!

A very cool shirt from Gaga.

Ainsleigh and Cooper were enjoying the madness.

Cooper really loved the activity cube that Uncle Michael and Aunt Kristin gave them on Christmas Eve. He kept playing with it while the rest of us were opening presents.

Jackson really wanted to get Ainsleigh a baby doll. He found one he liked and was so excited to give it to her.

He made a great choice because Ainsleigh loved it. She would pick it up and just hug it. It was very sweet.

The kids liked the playset that Santa brought them. They both loved going through the door.

Cooper and Ainsleigh in the mini-wagon from Papa and Grandma. Cooper got a very cute firetruck but they both seemed to enjoy climbing in and out of this one.

Holiday Fun

We were only supposed to get a few flurries but ended up with about an inch and a half of snow. It was unexpected and very pretty. Taylor was still working nights and came home at 11pm and took this picture of our house with all of the Christmas lights on.

Taylor bought this gingerbread train kit for Jackson. Of course, mommy was the one that had to help put it together. Little did I know that the tray that the pieces came in was to be used in the assembly as well. It was long gone with our trash before I realized it. Luckily the icing resembled cement so the train remained standing long after Christmas!

Jackson is so excited!!!!!

Jackson was very proud of his "cow catcher" on the front.

It may not be pretty, but we had fun decorating it!

Popsy and Cooper enjoyed watching the train being decorated!

Ainsleigh on the other hand would rather dig around in the junk cabinet and pull everything that she could reach out and put it in her mouth.

Ainsleigh and Cooper are One!!!!!

This is what I looked like just a few hours before having sweet little Ainsleigh and Cooper. I am still not exactly sure how my stomach stretched so much and how I walked away without stretch marks, but it happened. For those that saw me in person, I think I looked even bigger!!!!

We had Ainsleigh and Cooper's first birthday party on Dec. 7th. We are going to try to have it the first weekend in December to distance it a little from Christmas. We had a great time and the kids loved it.

Look at all of those presents. Ainsleigh's section didn't even fit in this picture. They both got new carseats. It is hard to believe they have finally outgrown their infant seats at age 1. Jackson outgrew his at 6 months...he weighed almost 20 lbs then!!!

Cooper and daddy opening presents.

Jackson was our big helper for the day. He helped open presents!

Uncle Michael, Shari, Story and Shelby Deweese. The girls were huge helpers too. They took pictures, wrote down the presensts and helped undress the kids for cake!

The party crowd!

Cooper loved all of his presents. He really enjoyed the ribbons.

Ainsleigh and Cooper playing with their new toys.

Ainsleigh loved all of the ribbons too.

Jackson, Taylor, Cooper, Kristen, Ainsleigh and Gaga.

The cakes! The big sheet cake wasn't what I had asked for,

but that is ok. Everyone ate it anyway!

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday. Jackson and our friend Addy helped blow the candles out.

Cooper was not so amused with the cake. He kept rubbing it in his eyes. I tried to feed it to him with a spoon and he wasn't all that interested. He is his father's child.

Ainsleigh on the other hand is definitely my child. She LOVED the chocolate icing. She didn't eat much cake, but pretty much cleared the icing from the top of her cake. She was literally up to her elbows in chocolate! She screamed when we took it away from her.

The aftermath...she went straight to the bathtub!
