Easter Fun

It is getting harder and harder to take pictures for holidays! I need to grow a few more arms!

Cooper didn't know what to think about the eggs. He just rolled it around on his tray alot.

Ainsleigh knew exactly what to do with hers. Break it and smoosh up the insides!

Jackson had fun dying the eggs. He left a few in the coloring while we
went to lunch and then his baseball game. They were so bright that
we joked we needed sunglasses to look at them!

The Easter Bunny is tricky at our house. He leaves clues and we have to go on a scavenger hunt to find the baskets. Jackson is getting pretty good at figuring out the clues.

Reading another clue on our search for the Easter Baskets.

We found them in the toy room!!

Cooper loved finding out what was in his basket!

Looking for Easter Eggs in the back yard Easter morning.

It was wet and chilly!

Jackson of course found the most.
Some of his even had money in them!

Ainsleigh wasn't really into picking up the eggs. She really just wanted to run around and follow Jackson and Cooper.

Cooper knew exactly what to do. He actually found quite a few eggs on his own!

Ainsleigh and Cooper Update

Whew, I will be glad when it is warm and it stays that way. I am tired of ear infections! We went for their 15 month well visit which was actually a very sick visit. Cooper had a double ear infection and respiratory problems. They put him on a nebulizer. He did weigh in at almost 23 lbs so he is growing. Ainsleigh on the other hand is in a holding pattern. She weighed in at 19 lbs 6 oz which puts her in the 5th percentile. We aren't worried yet, but we will see where she is for her 18 month check up. She had some sort of bacterial infection and her spleen was enlarged. She eventually had to take breathing treatments too. Our house was not much fun for a few days. Once we started antibiotics, things started to look up.

Cooper I guess in capris. His legs are so short!!

Ainsleigh is always on the go with something in her mouth!

Finally, they sit together just long enough to snap a picture!

Snow in April????

Welcome to spring in Tennessee! We have snow one weekend and tornadoes the next. Jackson was in awe so we had to take pictures. It only lasted a few mintues, but it did snow/sleet !

The Astros

Jackson is playing baseball again this spring. He really seems to like it. He moved up an age level this year. His team is the Astros. Taylor has kind of become the assistant coach. He has pitched the past few games and luckily only hit two kids:) We usually have one game on Saturday afternoons and one game during the week. Our next game is Tues when it is supposed to be in the high 30's!

Daddy giving Jackson a few tips before he is up to bat.

Look at that hit! He got pretty good
hits all three times at bat.

Taylor realized he is getting old. He was sore after pitching the first
game. Luckily the coach has a thing for Taylor's knee.

Crossing home plate!! He scored three runs (we don't get too many kids out at this age!)

Jackson was playing third base. In this picture he was twirling around in circles. I am not sure what he was doing, but he was having fun.

Waiting for a ball to come his way.

Springtime Fun

I took the kids to the tiny park by our neighborhood pool one afternoon. Whew, was I tired! Ainsleigh and Cooper don't get that you can't just keep walking down the slide. It was hard trying to keep up with both of them!

Sweet little Ainsleigh being silly.

Cooper just hanging out. He was really wanting to pick up EVERY piece of mulch.

Crazy Jackson! He helped get Ainsleigh and Cooper down
the slides. He is such a sweet big brother.

Ainsleigh and Cooper wanting to touch EVERY piece of mulch.....yuck!

Cooper, Ainsleigh and Jackson being sweet!

Cooper couldn't push the mower in the tall grass, so
he decided to get in front of it and try that way!

Roll Tide!

Ainsleigh crawled in and out of this chair a million times. She loved it!

They weren't too sure of what to do with the flowers.
They both just kept hitting at them.

The Snowman

I got this snowman for a Christmas decoration. Ainsleigh and Cooper fell in love with it. They would wave to it all the time while he was out on display. Now it is in the storage closet and every time the door to that opens, they hightail it over there to say hello. It is hilarious to see them running up to him and waving, hugging and kissing it. We sometimes bring it out into the bonus room and they have the biggest time. Guess he is just their size and they think it is another playmate!

They get down and scope it out before the hug on it.

Checking out Mr. Snowman's buttons and arms.

A Quick trip to the Zoo

We decided to run to the zoo for a little bit one Sat afternoon. Well, they hadn't started their new hours yet so it closed early. But we still had enough time for Jackson to get a snack, toy and see some animals.

Daddy and Jackson taking a photo break.

Jackson must want to become a model. He is always wanting
to pose and have us take his picture!

Another modeling picture!

Jackson was all about daddy on this day. They were joined at the hip.

Ainsleigh and Cooper don't want to be models.
They don't have time to sit still!!!

Cheese!!!
