Labor Day Fun

We went to Pickwick TN for Labor Day weekend. We got to visit with several of Taylor's aunts, uncles and cousins. There were several other kids there and they all had a great time. Riggs and Jake were a year younger and older than Jackson respectively. Sweet little Leo was a year younger than Ainsleigh and Cooper. The weekend was packed full of fishing, ice cream making and golf cart driving. Jackson is getting better at that, although daddy was afraid he was going to take out a mailbox one time! He also got to look at constellations via Papa's iPad. That was very cool!

Grandma and Cooper throwing rocks into the creek behind Aunt Geneva's house. He kept trying to throw it on the other side of the creek and would do it every now and then. He would then scream "I did it".

Papa and Ainsleigh just hanging out.

Cooper and Ainsleigh picking up rocks to throw into the creek. They could have done this for hours. Too bad the golf course was on the other side of the creek. We had to move every time golfers came through.

Trying to catch a "fish" in the creek. They did catch rocks and a minnow. They also were on the lookout for golf balls.

Jackson fishing. He didn't catch anything but he sure had fun trying

Cooper had alot of fun fishing. He really wanted to catch a fish!

Poor Ainsleigh kept throwing her pole into the water. We thought daddy was going to have to go fishing for her pole.

The kids and Papa trying to catch a big one!

Ainsleigh and Cooper weren't too sure about the live bait that Papa had... worms. "Ohhhhh Yucky worms" is what they said when Papa held it up.

But Ainsleigh would hold the worms in their container and smile about it! Does that look like a commercial or what??

Jackson at Shiloh.

Jackson and his cousins Riggs and Jake. They had so much fun running around Shiloh and throwing rocks into the river.

Papa trying to corral Ainsleigh while Grandma catches up with Cooper at Shiloh.

Cooper is a big boy!

It was hard trying to get 5 kids on the cannon at one time. One kept sliding off before we could get a picture!

Ainsleigh on the cannon.

Mom, Cooper, Ainsleigh and Grandma sitting on a cannon. That was just so cool! It took Cooper a long time to actually sit on one, but once he did, we couldn't get him off!

Cooper runs with a mission. Just look at that face and those arms.

We went walking on some of the trails at Shiloh. Papa was our own personal tour guide. He knew all of the history behind the battles.

Ainsleigh, Cooper and Jackson being kids.

Papa and Grandma with the kids on our last day. They had so much fun over the weekend and didn't want to leave.
