Day 6 - At Sea

Today we were supposed to go to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, but the weather had other plans! We got to float by the beach, but the swells were large and the full moon had really messed up the tide and there wasn't much beach left. So, we had a fun day at sea. We spent most of the day at the pool. It was sunny, just a little windy!

Sierra loved playing in the water by the pool.

Mmmmm, pool water!

Her little hands weren't big enough so she decided to use her mouth!

Jackson loved the hot tub, which felt really good on this particular day.

Wrapping up my cold boy.

A beautiful sunset from our balcony.

Our menu for the night. Jackson made me put on the hat for a picture.

Sierra enjoying dinner.

Our assistant waiter...Dedi.

Enjoying the show at dinner.

A very cool Jackson and Papa...notice the turned up collars. When Jackson wears a button up shirt, he has to button ALL the buttons.

The animal of the night...a monkey!

A very tired boy after a fun filled day.

Day 7 - Back in Ft. Lauderdale

A beautiful sunrise in a surprisingly chilly Ft. Lauderdale.

Jackson and Taylor are the two lumps under the covers. Jackson didn't want to get up because we had to get off the ship.

Look at those other cruise ships. There were 7 in the harbor today.

A tan Jackson at the airport waiting for our plane.

Christmas Morning...Oh my!

Whew is all I can say about Christmas morning! Ainsleigh and Cooper were a bit overwhelmed but still enjoyed every minute of it. Next year, they will be on top of it all! And they will be able to open their own gifts. We had to help them this year which made it hard to film and take pictures. Can you believe all presents were open by 9am?????

Our tree EARLY Christmas morning!

Waiting to go downstairs to see what Santa brought everyone.

Jackson posing with just a few of his gifts.

A Star Wars Lego something....

Cooper not quite knowing what to do!

Mimi and Popsy in the middle of the chaos!

A cool Transformer!

Ainsleigh on her new Princess trike. Cooper got one from Cars the movie. They loved them!
They couldn't reach the pedals yet, but their little legs worked as fast as they could to scoot along.

Jackson got a "ride on" toy too from Mimi and Popsy. He rode it around the house on Christmas Day.

Cooper doesn't discriminate....he will ride the Princess trike too!

Ainsleigh sitting in her baby doll stroller. She somehow got Cooper to push her around in this before we could catch them.

Christmas Eve with Mike Mike and Kristin

We had Christmas Eve lunch with Mike Mike and Kristin. They brought way too many presents for the kids!!

Look at those BIG gifts!

Jackson posing with his gifts.

Mike Mike and Kristin

Ainsleigh loved her towel. She wore it like this off and on for a few days.

Jackson got a cool hotwheels track!

Cooper LOVED his boat and truck set. We have already replaced the batteries in one of the trucks.

Ainsleigh got a baby doll bed that Uncle Mike Mike put together himself!

Jackson had to help Michael open his presents too.

Dad opening a present in a very cool box thanks to Kristin!

We made Santa Christmas Tree Brownie Pops instead of cookies this year. His kindergarten teacher also gave them special reindeer food that he scattered on the front lawn before we went to bed!

Fun at Mimi and Popsy's

We didn't get to have Christmas with Mimi's side of the family because Sue had emergency surgery. But, we still went to Murray to hang out for the weekend. We will have a family dinner once Sue can eat the "good food"!

Story came and spent the night and then headed to KY with us. I bet she didn't expect to have babies all over her! I was thankful she was here. I got to pack all of our stuff and was in bed by 11pm!

Ainsleigh's perch at Mimi and Popsy's house

Uh oh! Cooper made it up and Ainsleigh isn't happy!

Maybe an elbow to the back will get him off!

We went to visit Santa at his house in Murray. All Jackson
asked for was a bell from Santa's sleigh. Do you think
we have watched Polar Express too much?

Santa's house on the court square in Murray.

Can you tell these two are related???

Too much fun. These two needed a siesta!

Cooper decided Mimi was a better pillow than Popsy.

Jackson's Christmas Party at school

I got to go to Jackson's Christmas Party at school and boy did we have fun! All of the kids had reindeer antlers that they had made earlier in the month. They got to decorate cookies, make a fun party mix, a paint roller snowman and a paper bag snowman. Then they had a book exchange. They sat in a circle and passed the presents to the Left and Right as Mrs. Dorsten read a book about the Right family. It was funny!

Look at all of Mrs. Dorsen's reindeer!

Decorating cookies was a popular table!

What a cute paint roller snowman.
