Whoa!

Well, I have been writing down some milestones to include in Ainsleigh and Cooper's scrapbooks. I thought I would share a few with you all. They are so sweet, but so expensive!

• 500- number of diapers used in a month as newborns
• 3 - number of cans of formula a week before solid foods
• 350- number of diapers used in a month as 7 month olds
• 2 - number of cans of formula a week after solid foods
• 55-65- number of jars of baby food gone through in a week as 7 month olds

Cooper is always smiling, but Ainsleigh has to check everything out before she can even think about smiling!

Just like everything else, riding a bike without training wheels was a piece of cake for Jackson. Daddy held onto him twice and he hasn't stopped yet.

Ainsleigh is very talented. She can suck her toes.

The pre-courser to scooting. They both thought they could really get somewhere by spreading their little arms and flying. I felt so bad for them because they would get frustrated. Now that they are on the move, I kind of wish we would go back to the flying! At least they stayed in one place!!

4th of July

Ainsleigh loves to "fly"! She is scooting around alot so we know crawling is in near future. YIKES!

Ainsleigh pretty much only sleeps in her chair. She will not sleep in the bed right now. She also has to sleep with "Whiskers" the cat. It usually ends up on her head for some reason.

Ainsleigh has a major comb over! She has rubbed off the hair around the middle of her head, however the hair on top of her head is pretty long. It looks crazy! Taylor decided to give her a new do....this very attractive mohawk.

Father's Day, Sleeping Babies and More

Two peas in a pod! Ainsleigh and Cooper turned 6 months old on June 13th. Where has the time gone? We just went for their 6 month checkup. Ainsleigh weighs 15lbs 8oz and is 24.5 inches long. Cooper is 15lbs 10oz and is 25.25 inches long.

It is hard when both of them need to eat at exactly the same time. You can only put Cooper off for so long. Ainsleigh realizes she needed to eat 30 minutes ago and can't wait another second. It isn't pretty, but you do what you have to! I have fed both at the same time which is messy!

This is what happens when Cooper gets too hungry! He loves to use put his hands in his mouth at the same time as we are putting baby food in his mouth. This is the result of that battle!

For Father's Day, Jackson helped bake and decorate a "Dad" cake. He was so proud. Notice that one cake has M&M's, one has sprinkles and one has both. He had to make each one different just for daddy.

Jackson's Fire Truck Party

We celebrated Jackson's birthday just a little early this year. He wanted a fire truck themed party. It wasn't complete without a trip to Station #5 for a tour and a look at a real fire truck.

The kids really liked seeing where the firemen sleep and eat. They all wanted to know what they watched on tv and what they ate in the kitchen. You never know what kids will ask!

We got to sit in the driver's seat and turn on all of the lights! We had too many little kids there so we didn't turn on the sirens. The steering wheel was huge and there were tons of buttons to push!

The Kids

Here are just a few miscellaneous pictures of the kids. Ainsleigh and Cooper turn 5 months old on May 13 and Jackson turns 5 years old on May 20th. My how time flies!

Cooper and Ainsleigh on their first day of "school". They both did great. I think Ainsleigh is really going to like it. There is always something going on for her to watch. I thought she was going to get whiplash the first 5 minutes we were there. She couldn't keep up with all of the kids. Maybe it will wear her out so she will sleep better...right!

Jackson's "March"

This week was the Week of the Young Child. Jackson had a week full of activities at his school. Today they had a "march" through their playground. All of the kids wore t-shirts that they painted. It was followed by ice cream from the ice cream man. He had so much fun!

Growing Babies

Ainsleigh and Cooper went to the doctor for their 4 month check up today. Ainsleigh weighed in at 12lbs 15oz and was 23.25 inches long. She is getting big. She is in the 25th percentile for weight. Cooper weighs 12lbs and is 23 inches long. He finally made it on to the growth chart in the 3rd percentile!

They are so sweet and are changing daily. I am going to miss them so much when I have to go back to work!

Easter

This Easter was not much fun for any of us. Jackson had the flu the week leading up to Easter and I woke up with it Easter morning. Luckily neither one of us had a very bad case of it. And Ainsleigh and Cooper didn't get sick. I am not sure how we managed to avoid that, but we did. My mom came and stayed with us for a few days so I didn't hold them for almost 5 days which was horrible. But it was worth them not getting sick.

Look at Jackson's Easter Basket! It is full of goodies. The Easter Bunny hid his basket in his bathtub. He had to go on a scavenger hunt to find it!
